Ants are a social insect that live in colonies numbering in the thousands. The worker ant can range great distances looking for water and food, with a search that can be invasive to the interior of structures. Once a water or food source is found, they return to the colony leaving a pheromone scent for others to follow. This is the “trail of ants” customers may encounter.
